Frequently asked questions

Please take some time to review the listing descriptions and FAQs for details on products, processing times, shipping times, and troubleshooting. Our goal is for you to purchase these items confidently, without having to deal with any of the extras. Frankly, we don't want the extras either; they complicate things.

  1. What size hoop should I get? (Keeping this as simple as possible)

-Beginner PE Hoops: Measure from the bottom of your heart to the floor.

-On-body Polypro or HDPE Hoops: Measure from your navel to the floor.

-Off-Body Polypro or HDPE Hoops: Measure from your groin to the floor.

(Polypro and HDPE: Start with 3/4 tubing, graduate to 5/8 later.)

  2. How are your hoops coiled?

All hoops are coiled down to half-size for shipping.

  3. How do you measure the size of your hoop?

Our hoops are made using outer-diameter (OD) measurements.

  4. Will you be restocking on props that are sold out?

Great question! We will let you know when we find out. Our stock comes from multiple companies that are trying to clear out the back of their stock rooms to make room for more product. This sometimes means that what you see here is the last of its kind. Other times, we have multiple companies selling the same products, and you will see one company sell out as another offers the last of theirs.

  5. Do you warranty anything in your shop?

No, hard no. This website is a cut-and-dry situation. We ensure product quality at the time of sale and part ways. If there is damage to the item at the time of delivery, that falls under shipping insurance. Shipping damages must be resolved with the shipping company. The entire point of this place is to offer seamless transactions for desirable, limited-supply niche items and to help small businesses stay afloat. Offering warranties, exchanges, returns, or anything of that nature would defeat the purpose of the experiment. We are not big-box stores; we are creators. These types of functions are best served through big-box stores that overcharge you for said services; this just isn't us. You are benefiting by receiving wholesale pricing, not warranties and extensive customer service.

  6. Shipping Issues (Delayed, Lost, or Damaged Packages):

We are very sorry you are experiencing this inconvenience. We do our best to package every order securely; sometimes USPS tests us on these skills. Please visit USPS Claims for details and processes. All claims must be filed directly with the shipping carrier. The Flow Prop Shop is not responsible for USPS's actions, and we cannot guarantee USPS's shipping times. To protect you, we ensure that all packages have adequate shipping insurance when the label is purchased.

-Orders under $100, please fill out the form HERE for an insurance claim.

-Orders over $100, please email [email protected] and a claims link will be emailed to you.

  7. If I want an order by a certain date, can you ensure its delivery time?

We can offer expedited processing on a case-by-case basis and subject to a fee. Shipping times are determined by the shipping carrier, which is a separate company. That being said, if you want a guarantee, you must select USPS 1-2 Priority Express with a money-back guarantee, so that you can get a refund if it is not delivered on time. This is the only recourse; the link is above in question 4.

  8. Most other details are in the description of the listing; please take some time to read before reaching out because there is only one person monitoring this website and they get crabby when people do not read the listing descriptions before requesting free labor. Thank you.
